Merry Little Plan

One of my favorite holiday traditions is that I like to read and write ghost stories and I seem to really get into it the colder and the snowier it is outside.

I even like to listen to old radio plays, like the ones featured on Imagination Theatre though I am very much a fan of the series called Kincaid The Strangeseeker , during the winter.

This year I’m going to try to develop my artistic side too- I’m not very good at the visual arts and I figure under the cover of darkness is the best place for me to create my little monsters- or I guess it’s kinder to say  artistic endeavors.

First are the books I bought to read –The Valancourt Book of Victorian Christmas Ghost Stories and The Valancourt Book of Victorian Christmas Ghost Stories, Volume Two.

The blurb at Amazon promises me that these were collected from Victorian Era periodicals that ran these stories during the Christmas season.

I have high hopes for these collections and tomorrow I will start reading them.

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather spend my evenings reading these stories or listening to some spine chilling radio stories then I would standing in line at cash register with my phone waiting for Christmas to be over.
